So, why do we need yet another book for this spot in the curriculum? I learned mathematical statistics with the help of the standard texts. Since then, Ihavetaughtthiscourseandsimilaronesmanytimes,atseveraldifferentuniversi ties,usingwell thought oftextbooks.Butfromthebeginning,Ifeltthatsomething was wrong.
