Pardre Pio received extraordinary gifts from God. But his genius (and holiness) is how he put these gifts to use in practical ways. Meet Padre Pio and discover your gifts and how God is calling you to use them.A gruff yet godly man, Padre Pio (1887-1968) was a healer and mystic. He aspired to great holiness, both for himself and for the many people who came to him for spiritual direction. For the final 50 years of his life, Padre Pio silently endured the physical pain of his stigmata. Padre Pio was graced with amazing gifts that enabled him to carry out his ministry until the day he died. Over 100,000 of Padre Pio's "spiritual children" attended his funeral, and in May 1999 Padre Pio was beatified by Pope John Paul II. Meet Padre Pio will bring you face-to-face with one of the most beloved yet mysterious Catholic personalities of the twentieth century.
