This Messianic Guide to the Epistles challenges the authority of these commentaries on Scripture as presented by the Epistles, and explains more accurately what constitutes Scripture and what constitutes a commentary on Scripture. Ever since the Catholic religion established the New Testament as the basis of both the Catholic and Protestant Churches, the Epistles have been the foundation for the development of tradition and practice for both Catholics and Protestants. The Epistles have been used extensively as the authority for the interpretation and application of the New Testament, with tradition and practice of the Catholic religion assuming an even more central position of power. But is this a valid approach to the application of Scripture in our lives?
