This edition of NFPA 25, Standard for the Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems, California Edition 2013 was developed by the California Office of the State Fire Marshal in cooperation with the California State Fire Marshal's Automatic Extinguishing Systems Advisory Committee. This document replaces the NFPA 25, 2006 California Edition (which was based on the 2002 NFPA 25). In this edition, Annex B of the NFPA 25 has been replaced in its entirety with a new California Annex that includes 23 forms in the format developed by the Office of the State Fire Marshal. They are to be used to record the result of all inspections, tests and maintenance of water-based fire protection systems (Title-19, CCR, Section 906.4 (a)).
