Go with Tom Hill on location ... from Gloucester Harbor to the Grand Tetons, from a desert oasis to the Greek island of Santorini. Watch - and learn - as he paints a charming Midwest farmhouse, the early morning light at Hania, the market day crowd at Ocotlan and other exciting locations.Eleven step-by-step demonstrations show how Hill thinks, how he chooses techniques, how he decides what to put in and what to take out of the scene in front of him ... how he expresses the very essence, color and personality of scenes from around the world.By seeing the actual scene Hill is painting, as well as "over-the-shoulder" photos that show the piece as it progresses, you'll get a working sense of how you can transform extraordinary - even ordinary - scenes into exciting and expressive watercolor compositions.
