His late wife Angela said with a smile that, over this time he has mastered brisket and I enjoy eating it.In November 2017 Angela was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, a fatal brain cancer. In July 2018 she made the decision to discontinue treatment as the cancer had worsened and the outlook from available treatments offered little in the way of a better quality of life. Doctors said she has about six months to live.
