Tbe Malaysianconferencecoveredbytheseproceedingsemphasized"composites and blends", ''high-performance materials", ''materials for photonics", ''materials for electronics", ''biomaterials'', "recycling of materials", "sol-gel and processed materials", "advanced materials from natural products", and ''multifunctional and smart materials". There was also a separate symposium on ''business opportunities".
