A fractured fairy tale that'll tickle their funny bones. All the classic elements are here: A beautiful young princess,an evil witch, a helpful frog (a.k.a.the knight), a girl-eating dragon and a dilemma that's as tough as the scales on that same dragon's back. But this enchanting new story casts its own unique spell with a delightfully funny, contemporary incantation over the traditional fairy tale genre. Frogs refuse to be kissed; the handsome duke faints when he tries to replace the princess' missing glass slipper, and the dragon changes into a chubby, white bunny.Like her wonderful tale, Leslie Elizabeth Watts' softly glowing illustrations are the perfect blend of fairy-dusted magic and warm realism that will bewitch every young child and their parents too.
