Not only must her horse, Chiquita, undergo complicated surgery, but she also requires full time care. Alyson's life is stacked with things to do, especially after Cat convinces her to become active in a campaign to save a local ranch from development. And when Alyson is given the chance to compete again on another horse, she is unsure of the path she wants to take. A part of her yearns to return to barrel racing and the wild world of the rodeo, but another part of her is scared to death. About the Author Rachel Claus Hector was born in St. Louis, MO in 1986.
