The poetry in Remember to Dream: For Tomorrow Must Come deals with serious subjects such as depression and healing. According to author Rita L. Nicholson, we tie so much of our self-image into our profession. In some jobs such as nursing, it is not about the money, but a true vocation. "In my field of nursing I have seen firsthand how every soul is taken to the point of having to re-invent themselves. It matters not so much how we got there, but what we do once we arrive." About the Author: Rita L. Nicholson started writing poetry at the age of eight and began playing guitar at twelve. She developed her self-taught writing skills through her work as an RN. Being a trained observer and having to use short formats were instrumental in the development of her style. "I grew up with the Beatles and all the unparalleled singer/songwriters of the late '60s and early '70s. I hope that my writing will promote one's own vast healing powers that lie within. Mentally holding on to a meaningful picture, thought or feeling will, without a doubt, prevail over the darkness. I credit the CODA 12-step program and Julian A. Boyd for helping me find the courage to unlock the door of my writing closet." Cover artwork by Suzy Andrews Author photo by Amy May Publisher's website: http://www.sbpra.com/RitaLNicholson
