Alone and confused, Maya Santos awakens from her coma. Disjointed thoughts, memories, and fears she is at pains to understand, are all she has left. Robert, her Fiancée, gone since before her attack, is still missing, as is Amanda Winehart, a friend and colleague who had joined forces with her to find him. With forces of darkness striving to destroy her, a sinister stranger with inhumanly cold ice-blue eyes haunting her at every turn, and on the verge of losing her sanity, Maya is at her wits end just to keep herself alive. Her world crumbling around her, she must go to the past to understand her present. A past of violence, pain, love, heroism, and Santeria. Not only her life depends on it, but the future of human kind may as well. The question is, can she do it?A suspense-filled journey of self-discovery, Robert's Papers: darkest before dawn, book two from the Trilogy Robert's Papers, takes the reader from Long Island to New Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Patagonia, as it ventures into the depths of the spirit in its struggle on the thresholds between Light and Darkness.
