As she watches her daughter grow and develop, she never misses the opportunity to educate Eileen on the etiquette of modern relationships with men. Sasha's personal friends admire the way she takes on her challenges. She has few fears and knows where all of her strength comes from. the end of the story Sasha meets Maurice and thiings seem to be going right, for once. She receives another shock. A surprise unfolds as she is about to leave a horse show she attended in Arizona.
