Dr. Parmiter received her M.A. Degree from Allegheny College and Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh. She has recently retired as a professor from Thiel College. She s had the opportunity to study and travel extensively in 23 foreign countries, including England, Israel, China, Egypt, and Iceland. She and her husband have two children and five grandchildren.
