Kerry Carlisle was an actress, a television star, one of the lucky ones gifted with star shine. That elusive yet recognizable ability to glow within a viewfinder, to gather all attention and let none seep away to other actors, star shine created its own dangers. Others wanted star shine for themselves if they could get it, to destroy it if they could not.A teenaged runaway with her own dose of star shine pops into Kerry's world bringing with her a father who can teach Kerry all she doesn't know about his world, the world of kindness, understanding, away from the gleam of celebrity, the glare of attention. Kerry introduces father and daughter to her world, one demanding ambition, work, envy and hatred. Full of characters from the television series, actors, directors, cast and crew, Kerry's world suddenly includes romance, new friends, an old enemy and revenge, dangerous revenge.
