You can learn how to use the Scriptures more thoroughly and effectively in your child training. Most of today's Christian parenting resources overlook the most crucial aspect of true biblical parenting-how to relate the Bible to the raising of our children in actual, practical ways. Whatever else you are doing to equip your children, do you really know how to use the Bible for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness with your children? In Teach Them Diligently, Lou Priolo has given a tool to strengthen you in this vital area. Teach Them Diligently: How to Use the Scriptures in Child Training is a practical guide for Christian parents seeking to raise their children with a strong biblical foundation. Drawing from Deuteronomy 6:6-7, this book emphasizes the importance of integrating Scripture into every aspect of parenting, beyond merely sharing Bible stories. Priolo, a seasoned biblical counselor, offers step-by-step guidance on utilizing the Bible for teaching, convicting, correcting, and training children in righteousness, as outlined in 2 Timothy 3:16-17. The book explores how parents can apply Scripture to discipline, diagnose heart issues, and foster spiritual growth, providing tools such as a topical appendix with relevant Bible passages and questions to bring conviction. Praised by John MacArthur for its wealth of practical and biblical insights, this resource equips parents to fulfill their calling to raise godly children while acknowledging the sanctification process for both parent and child.
