The end of that trail was not reached until 1962. The American Seasons is a one-volume rich harvest of chapters selected by Mr. Teale from his four original volumes of the seasons, with a fascinating Introduction by the author of the story behind his works. Additionally, there are sixty-four pages of superb photographs taken by Mr. Teale during his travels. This handsome volume was designed by Avery Fisher.
