Sliding from the present into the ancient stories of her family's past, Arlin will never know if she was given a vision or simply had a vivid dream. She is spectator to the ancestor for whom she is named in a battle to lead the clan through dark days of enemy attack. The Descendant's Vision is a tale of love, sorcery, battle and the victory over evil that only Christ can deliver. Arlin in the past uncovers her family's dark secret and faces the evil sorcerer in a fantasy of sword fights and women who lead. Darlene McPherson-Pagels is a storyteller descended from a long line of storytellers. After a long career in engineering, she and her husband, Mark, have found a home in rural Texas on Galveston Bay where they devote heart and soul to their grandson, Tyler, and church family at Oak Island Baptist Church near Anahuac in Chambers County.
