In a time in history wherein we have the written instructions of God for the church and the Holy Spirit active in our lives, why isn't the church more of a transforming force in the world? We believe that the power of the Flaming Sword can help the church to fulfill its purpose in the world. The Flaming Sword illustrates the agreement between the Word, the Holy Spirit and the Love shown by the Believer which brings unity among all believers and enables us to abide in the presence of God. As one believer, you are a mighty fire to be reckoned with, but as a body of believers we are unquenchable. It is time to use the power of the Flaming Sword within our homes, jobs and churches to make a difference in our lives and those around us. Activate the power of the Flaming Sword in your life today! Mark E. Crutcher currently serves as the senior pastor of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Pensacola, Florida. He has served in ministry within the African Methodist Episcopal Church for over two decades. He is also the Director of Evangelism and Church Growth for the Eleventh Episcopal District in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Pastor Crutcher desires to provide spiritual and practical leadership that has a positive influence on the lives of people within and without the AME Church and to people who are not in church at all.
