But when an old enemy of Emnor returns to the cliff city with a new and terrible power, Silverlock finds himself thrust once more into open war. About the Author Ryan Z. Dawson was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and he began writing poetry, short stories, and songs at an early age. His first attempts at narrative fiction were single-page sword and sorcery tales featuring characters and situations inspired by He-Man and the 1982 film *Conan the Barbarian.* In junior high school, he developed an interest in "conlanging" and devised several constructed languages. Now living in southern Indiana with his wife, Lisa, he has written five novel-length stories and more than 1000 original songs and poems. *The King's Eagle* is his publishing debut. He developed Imnura, the language of Emnor, especially for this story's world. You can learn more about the Imnura language at http://imnuralanguage.tumblr.com/
