When the hand dealt in life is like the player himself--marked, true victory awaits the defeat of the fiercest adversary of all--the enemy reigning within. The war is over but not for Christian Jack, a young man scarred with the notorious reputation having been one of Quantrill's deadly Missouri raiders. Seeking anonymity and reclusion, he dons a false identity and heads west to Cheyenne where doors disguised as opportunity open on hell itself where every man must account for his life and soul. When the raider arises from the ashes and mounts to strike again, he is no longer driven by blind vengeance, but a noble, much higher cause. With timeless issues of war, greed, hatred, vanity, prejudice, love and faith, THE RAIDER CHRISTIAN JACK is a gritty, unpredictable and ultimately enlightening story about the unlikely transformation of a battle-hardened, fearless and faithless man from darkness to light.
