Star pupil of the Harvard Divinity School, Gabriel Mann is no stranger to biblical mysteries, but when his mentor Dr. John Marco reveals that the persistent man stalking them is an angel, his peaceful reality is shattered. What Gabriel learns afterwards is astounding; the angelic revolt against Heaven that began with the Watchers of Enoch is growing and they believe Gabriel holds the key to their one vulnerability: the elusive Book of Secrets. Determined to preserve the surviving choirs of Heaven, Gabriel sets out to locate the sacred relic before fallen angels crush God's final resistance. Joining him are his brave fiancée Elizabeth Keely, the reluctant Principality Requel, and his own unapologetic guardian angel that abandoned him years ago; the heavenly warrior whose true name remains unknown. This stand-alone first novel in the series introduces us to startling history long ignored by biblical scholars and theories behind the ancient gods of early civilization.
