The purpose of this devotional Bible is found in its title. It is to help the reader find true success by applying the truths of the Scriptures to everyday life and a peaceful and restfull night of sweet sleep. Each daily reading is designed to be read in the morning and in the evening. The morning readings are taken from the Old Testament and Proverbs. These devotions are designed to help you successfully apply the scriptures to the rigors of daily life. The evening readings are from the New Testament and Psalms. These devotions are designed to help you wind down from the often overwhelming requirements of daily life and put closure to your day. You may wish to utilize these readings for family devotions; breakfast and dinner are a wonderful time to do so. As you read your devotional Bible, let me encourage you to look for nuggets of gold - scriptures and lines that may sharpen you throughout the day. You may wish to write them down and bring them to your memory. By taking just a few minutes each morning and evening you will be able to read through the entire Bible in one year. -- from books introduction
