"We never leave one of our own behind." But when "one of our own" is kidnapped on the autobahn outside of Frankfurt, Germany, while on a covert mission for the CIA, and is flown into captivity in some god-knows-where place in the Middle East, the government refuses to rescue him to avoid revealing a covert CIA program. It then falls to Brad Timmons and a group of his old Air Force comrades, including friends of the kidnapped man, to take on the operation themselves. What results is a wide-spread deadly web of intrigue and life-threatening danger that extends from Frankfurt to Damascus, Tel Aviv, New Orleans, Colorado Springs and Washington, D.C. Along the way, the covert assistance of the CIA and the Israeli Mossad is helpful, but treachery at the CIA threatens to lure the entire operation into a deadly trap.
