It doesn't mean what you think: boring, uneventful, undistinguished, everyday, filler. In fact, the liturgical season of Ordinary Time is a chance for you to find beauty in the everyday and to live your spirituality to its fullest. The time after Epiphany and after the Day of Pentecost is a season for celebrating the risen Christ and for considering what it really means to follow Christ. In The Time Between, Wright shows how God is at work in our lives and in the saints of old during the nonseasonal liturgical year. Drawing from scripture, art, and classic theological works, Wright relates them in an accessible way to help you discover God's call for your life. And there's nothing ordinary about that! As Wright says, ""Monet saw that each lily in each season at each time of day was an irrepeatable astonishment. What Monet saw when he gazed on his water lilies, God must see when beholding creation. Beloved."" Find the extraordinary in the Ordinary this year. This book is also available in the Wendy Wright Seasonal Trilogy.
