Grab the wheel and hold on as you experience four shipwrecks through the eyes of the men who were at the helm. Includes eyewitness accounts of the Great Storm of 1913 (Ed Kanaby of the steamer HB Hawgood) and the 1940 Armistice Day Storm (Lloyd Belcher of the Canadian freighter Novadoc). Also features the 1965 deadly collision of the Cedarville at the Straits of Mackinac as told by wheelsman Len Gabrysiak. "The Wheelsmen" also includes the full story of the survivors of the Coast Guard cutter Escanaba, lost in a mysterious explosion during World War II. Based on interviews appearing in the documentaries "Final Run: Storms of the Century" and "Cutter Rescues".
