Frequent walks with Rocket allowed her to soak in the calm, but eclectic and ever-changing environment, their strides giving way to observations about the world around them. Connections would form between the natural spaces they inhabited and her emotional responses to them. Bits and pieces of this collection appeared previously as social media postings. Friends appreciated the quirky observations of current events that would often arise from Rockets sojourns in his rural neighborhood with his faithful companion. Some even came to anticipate what might arise from walks following certain particularly noteworthy occasions, and eagerly awaited the next Walking Rocket installment.
