Wild Things is the amazing tale of Donna Matrazzo's coming of age as a grassroots activist and a behind-the-scenes look at the evolution of Portland, Oregon's renowned greenspaces movement by somebody who was there from the start. It is a wonderful story that will inspire a new generation of activists, wherever they may live, to get involved and protect the wild things and wild places that surround them.-Bob Sallinger, Conservation Director, Audubon Society of Portland"The planet needs more friends like Donna Matrazzo -and it needs more books like this one, which remind us that we're all quite capable of making bigand useful change."-Bill McKibben, author, The End of Nature
