A fan of romance fiction since high school, Catherine decided to write her first romance novel after careers as a copywriter and technical editor. Wildflowers is the product of several years of research and writing. Her trips to Oklahoma to visit her parents when they relocated there from New York City sparked her interest in the plight of Native Americans and those earlier settlers in the frontier states. In addition to Wildflowers, Catherine Greenfeder wrote Sacred Fires and Angels Among Us, both paranormal romance novels. She is working on several projects including a time travel and a young adult paranormal novel. Catherine attributes her love of writing to growing up in a household of storytellers, especially her mother who loves to entertain with stories from the past. In addition to writing books, Catherine is a language arts teacher and enjoys travel, yoga, and the theater. She is a member of several writing organizations including the RWA and Liberty State Fiction Writers.
